For Indianapolis Coltsí fans https://www.coltsfanshop.com , the return of Andrew Luck to the field this season would have been enough within itself to have optimism. But, Luck isnít just back on the field, heís been putting together his best season as a pro after returning from shoulder surgery that kept him out of the 2017 season altogether.Luck has his best completion rate of his career to this point at 67.9 percent, his best touchdown percentage of 6.5 percent, is on pace to eclipse his career-best of 40 touchdowns, and has been hitting his best quarterback rating (98.9) as well.In November, Luck was recognized by the NFL as the AFCís offensive player of the month with his impressive production, and now Pro Football Focus has given the Coltsí signal-caller the same acknowledgment. Luck put up 9 touchdowns to only 3 interceptions, had a completion rate of 77.9 percent and compiled 925 passing yards (308 passing yards per game), in leading the team to a 31.3 point per game average and going 3-0 in November. Here is what PFF had to say about their decision to give the honor to Luck:Luck took only a single sack in November which absolutely helped his ability to read the field and deal to his receivers, but didnít have a dominant running game to give him much of an assist. The Colts averaged only 3.9 yards per rush (301 rushing yards/3 games) after their previous two games, alone Indianapolis Colts Customized Jerseys , netted them 442 rushing yards.Luckís Week 13 performance appears to be nothing but a blip at this point when looking at his season production, thus itís more than fair to assume that heíll return to form down the stretch of the final four games of the season which the Colts desperately need. The Indianapolis Colts went into Sundayís game on the back of a bye week having beat the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. The Colts were able to rest up over the bye week and grind out a tough division win against the Houston Texans. There were plenty of strong showings during the 30-23 win, and a few poor ones, as well.Hereís the stock report for week 7:Stock Up: Jacoby BrissettJacoby Brissett had the best game of his career to date. He threw for four touchdowns and 326 yards completing 66% of his passes. Brissett looked like a man on fire, consistently finding his receivers, keeping plays alive with his mobility and making clutch throws. Stock up, Jacoby!Stock Down: 4th and 1Frank Reich goes for it on 4th down yet gain! Unfortunately this time he didnít get it, losing his perfect record on 4th down conversions for the season. The issue wasnít the idea to go for it on 4th and 1, it was more the play design that was the problem. Frank Reich even admitted after the game it was the wrong decision to run a pitch type play instead of just running it up the middle. Personally I go by the saying ďIf it ainít broke donít fix itĒ and the best call looked like it should of been a QB sneak with Brissett as has worked so well before. Stock Up: Zach PascalZach Pascal, have yourself a day! Pascal had 6 receptions on 7 targets, 106 yards receiving, 2 touchdowns and even forced a safety. If he hadnít already proved himself earlier on the year then today proved it Indianapolis Colts T-Shirts , Pascsal belongs on this roster and should be the teams clear WR2 at the moment.Stock Down: Run gameNot many times this year you will hear me say that the Colts running game was poor. MarlonMack stumbled his way to 44 yards on 18 attempts and the team only managed a very uncharacteristic 62 yards on the ground for the game. What might have been a factor in this poor showing was the Texans were clearly trying to stop the Colts running all over them, so instead, the Colts decided to air it out and four touchdowns later, the Colts won. Stock up: Run DefenseHolding the number 4 ranked rushing offense to 69 yards and 3 Deshaun Watson runs is exactly the step in the right direction that the run defense needed. The Colts run defense had been poor early in the year and the Chiefs game seemed to be the first turning point but shutting down the Texans rushing defense was huge. Having Jabaal Sheard back sure does help!Stock down: Deon CainDeon Cain (or should we start calling him Mr.Invisible, now?). When Devin Funchess went down in game 1 with a broken collarbone, most thought Cain would be the WR2 and step up in Funchess absence. Unfortunately, apart from a couple big pass interference calls, all that Cain has managed to muster is 4 catches for 52 yards in 6 games, not exactly WR2 numnbers. Cain seems to be getting overtaken by every other wide receiver and with Funchess not far off from returning, week 11, Cain may have lost his best opportunity.
